Vogue Brand Ambassador Launch

Objective:

Introduce the sizzling Deepika Padukone as the face of the brand Vogue Eyewear to its Indian audiences. Deepika Padukone was all set to join the ranks of Giselle Bundchen, Kate Moss and Eva Mendes who have been the face of Vogue Eyewear in the recent past. The objective was to introduce Deepika Padukone at an exclusive event and allow a media interaction along with a set of celebrity influencers who are known for their sense of fashion and style through an ambience and a set of engagement activities that would personate the characteristics of the brand.

Challenges: 

  • The event demanded a trendy, classy, vibrant and elegant execution to introduce Deepika Padukone to the media as the face of Vogue Eyewear in India.
  • Across the globe, be it Los Angeles, Brazil, China or Milan, Vogue Eyewear events always have a very distinct treatment of the brand experience along with the venue setup and various engagement activities therein. These international standards were expected to be followed here as well.

Concept & Execution: Venue & Décor:

  • Tote on the Turf at the Mahalaxmi Race Course was chosen as the venue for the event with its beautiful interiors. With colour coordinated zones matching the brand campaign colours for Vogue Eyewear, this beautiful venue was brought alive with props, flowers, fruits and lights in similar colour schemes.
  • The red carpet entry had a magnificent branded wall on one side with a tactile photo opportunity wall with branded balloons that added a touch of glamour to the whole event.
  • The branding walls with campaign images of Deepika Padukone adorned the spaces within the venue.
  • Various small touches were customized for the brand experience – customized drinks menu, colour coordinated photo frames, coloured candles were just some of these that added a whole new dimension to the event experience.
  • The brand engagement activities lined up for the event/at the venue reflected the style and glamour quotient of the brand itself. Three fashion illustrators sketched stylized versions of the guests sitting across one at a time – these became wonderful event souvenirs for the guests as they took away their illustrations on Vogue Eyewear branded canvases.
  • The Soothsayer had her own special corner where she conducted Style Readings for the guests along with Tarot Reading, giving them a glimpse into a stylized future with Vogue Eyewear.
  • A live Tweet Board was placed at the venue where guests tweeted their pictures and experiences from the event itself.
  • Vasuda Sharma and her live band wowed the audience with a live performance of songs amidst a stunning backdrop of crystals and lights.
  • The audience got a firsthand taste of the Vogue Eyewear brand as the entire experience and treatment was very well received by all.

 Impact:

  • The event was attended by media and influencers who participated in the various brand engagement activities and absorbed the Vogue Eyewear experience.
  • The client was very pleased with the overall treatment and execution of the event including the décor and ambience.
